Join Us For The Best Race in Northern Illinois!
Beginning and ending in Downtown DeKalb, the route will take runners through historical neighborhoods, along the Kishwaukee River via Prairie Park, through NIU's campus and Huskie Stadium and ending in Van Buer Plaza with a Post Race Celebration!
On Course Entertainment includes the Black Tie Jazz Trio, NIU's Huskie Marching Band, Banda, and Steelband!
Our roots run strong and we look forward to gathering for the 46th DeKalb Corn Classic!
Celebrating America 250 on Race Day

In celebration of America 250, every registered participant by September 1 will receive a special commemorative red, white, and blue DeKalb Corn Classic T-shirt. This limited-edition design honors 250 years of America and commemorates this historic milestone as we come together to celebrate community, tradition, and the joy of running.
The DeKalb Corn Classic Committee is also donating $2.50 from every registration to the American Legion Post 66 of DeKalb County in support of the Be the One initiative, a nationwide effort with a mission to prevent veteran suicide by encouraging connection, awareness, and support for those who have served. Together, we can celebrate our nation’s history while making a meaningful impact in our community. |
